With Autumn in full swing and the holidays right around the corner, I wanted to say a little farewell to summer, because it was a pretty memorable one (and why does that feel so so long ago!). Spending a weekend with my family and my gal down in Cape May in August was truly special to me and had me feeling all the feels. Those beaches bring me so much nostalgia, and walking under the giant columns at Congress Hall bring me to another era. With my dad’s famous Spanish paella to sunset beach strolls to soaking in every last bit of sunshine at the shore, I’d say it was the perfect way to end my first summer with my girl.

How pretty is my mom, by the way?

I have high hopes that Castella grows up loving the sand between her toes as much as I did (do).
