These world travelers had me at Hawaii. Spending their winters on the North Shore, this affectionate couple decided to have their wedding in their hometown of Ocean City Maryland, in Tyler’s parents backyard on the bay. When we arrived at the house, I was mistaken for Melissa’s sister by one of the caterers, which turns out, I ended up feeling that way towards the end of the night. She was so welcoming and loving, I felt I had known her my whole life. I loved their travel theme, and how they incorporated each of their trips into their wedding. When we left to do portraits, Melissa took us to this abandoned farm commune that blew Shawn and I’s heads off. There was just too much amazingness to photograph. With a shining sparkler exit to end the night, I was floating on cloud nine. Biggest of hugs to you both!
