With each wedding I shoot, I take little pieces of love & adulation from it. For that day, I become somewhat attached to two people’s story, their quirks and jokes, tears and utter happiness. I shed tears with each dance, each vow that is spoken from extreme depths, each quiet embrace shared. I can’t help it. Maybe that’s why this is where my career has led me. Capturing love stories, watching them unfold, as hectic as the day may be. This couple was a reminder of just that. I arrived on an overcast day to photograph Jack & Lauren’s ceremony in a tiny chapel in Beach Haven. Jack left no dry eye with his vows. Kneeling down in the aisle, my viewfinder was flooded. Right then, I knew I was part of something great. Here are a few frames from that day. Part two to follow.
