Wanderlust: a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explore the world.
Or in this case, our big, beautiful U S of A. Shawn and I have been talking about driving cross country for almost a decade, and once his brother and gf made the trip last summer, we knew we had to get the wheels in motion. I had taken the trip with my best friend a few years back, but we had a short time frame and pretty much sped from NJ to California in 3 days.
Shawn and I decided to take our time, and about 2 weeks to really explore and see what our country has to offer. And we were completely in awe.

We took the northern route, drove 4,300 miles with 3 cameras in tow and a whole lot of stops. I am so enamored by the beauty we were so lucky enough to see and also by the peaceful country roads that were desolate for hundreds of miles.
Here are our trip photos, some film, some digital, but all don’t do these places justice. And if you want to see our journey via instagram, our trip hashtag was #xcvs

P.S. Big Sur might be the dreamiest place in this country. Woah.
